Dylan Hembrough is a pharmacy student, a writer, a student journalist, and a lover of religion and philosophy currently based out of the St. Louis area. He is twenty-two and lives with his fiancée and their two cats, Maple and Tobias.

Dylan grew up in Sherman, Illinois, and graduated from Williamsville High School. He has published three books to date: May 21, Burn the Ashes, and The Miran Chronicle, all of which can be found on Amazon and are linked in the “Other Works” section. He is currently studying pharmacy at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and serves as editor-in-chief of The Alestle, the student newspaper there.

Dylan started “The Idyllicist” in January 2026 as an outlet to discuss his thoughts on various philosophical and religious topics.
